It is suggested that; if you are going to stay less than 60 days, apply for an Indian e-tourist visa.
Required Documents for Malaysian Tourist
Applying through the Online portal of e-Visa is definitely the simplest mode of application submission. But before moving to fill the application form, you need to know about the required documents to get the Indian visa for Malaysians, take a look at underneath requirements:
- A single copy of the front and last page of the passport
- Passport size photograph with white background
- Documents such as student ID card, appointment letter, Invitation letter or medical certificate and other
- Ensure that your passport is valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry.
Note: While applying the online application, you need to submit the scanned copies of documents otherwise your application may get rejected.
Application Processing Time for Malaysian Visitors
Generally, it takes 3 to 4 working days to get the approval of e-visa. All the documents and submitted applications will be verified by the officials. In case you have submitted the wrong information or application is not fully completed, officials will reject it immediately.
If the application is successful gets approved, you will be notified on your email address. However, you need to apply it a minimum of 8 days before the departure.
